Inaugural Class of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine

The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine welcomed its inaugural class of 64 men and women to Florida Atlantic University in August 2011. The students come from all walks of life, but they share the drive and passion to become physicians and help patients. The class members collectively wrote a student oath, which will serve as a code of conduct they are committed to following throughout their education and as physicians after medical school. The class recited this oath in unison at the conclusion of the first White Coat Ceremony at Florida Atlantic University held in August 2011.
