Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program

Welcome to the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at Florida Atlantic University!

We are very proud of our three-year Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training program which began in 2018, and is emerging into a robust educational, clinical, and research program under the supervision of dedicated and highly skilled clinician-educators who are deeply committed to teaching. Our goal is to develop future academic leaders in cardiology through a rigorous program fulfilling the eligibility requirements set forth by ACGME, tailored to meet our trainees’ unique interests. As a fellow in this program, you will enjoy a rich, humanistic, and patient-centered experience, using state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge research.

We have also created an extensive didactic program, with a comprehensive lecture series on core cardiology topics. Our regular conferences include Morning Report, EKG rounds, Imaging, Interventional Cardiology, Cardio-Oncology, Board Review, Grand Rounds and Journal Club.

Our program works to foster an environment of collaboration and research, which enables our graduates to critically appraise the available evidence and keep abreast of advances in an ever-changing environment of cardiovascular medicine. Career guidance and mentoring begins from the onset of training, as we recognize how soon fellows face the next phase of decision-making.

We welcome your interest in our program and encourage you to consider FAU during your search for strong cardiovascular diseases fellowships. If you have any questions about our fellowship program, please do not hesitate to contact us or our current fellows. We look forward to reviewing your application to our program and meeting you soon!
