Biography

Sachin S. Sule, M.D., F.A.C.P. is Director of the FAU Internal Medicine Residency Program and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He brings more than 15 years of clinical education and Internal Medicine Residency administration experience to the college.

Prior to joining FAU, Dr. Sule served as the Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY for six years. During the same period of time, Dr. Sule was the Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York Medical College and recipient of the “Excellence in Teaching” award for several consecutive years.

Dr Sule is a general Internist by training with experience in quality improvement /patient safety projects, educational innovation and cardiovascular research. He has mentored several residents and fellows. He brings to the Program an extensive experience in administration and supervision, ability to collaborate at all levels, and above all a passion for teaching residents and students.

Dr. Sule is the author or coauthor of more than 30 peer reviewed articles published in prestigious journals such as Circulation , JACC and JGME and the author or coauthor of more than 60 abstracts presented at national society meetings. His areas of interest include educational innovation, patient safety and cardiovascular research.
