Peter J. Holland, MD, FACOEM, DFAPA, Associate Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science

Dr. Holland is a principal investigator of both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored pharmaceutical trials. Since 1981, he has completed more than 60 double-blind, controlled clinical trials. Indications have included all major psychiatric diagnoses; however, his primary areas of interest are mood disorders, anxiety disorders, sleep and dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Holland directed his own clinical and research practice in Boca Raton for twenty-five years. For the last nine years, he has conducted clinical research trials at FAU, first at the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center and now at FAU's Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine.
