Salary and Benefits

Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine offers a competitive benefits package to its residents.

Resident Salaries

  • PGY-1                                                                          $50,500
  • PGY-2                                                                          $51,900
  • PGY-3                                                                          $53,300

Resident Benefits

  • Educational stipend                                                  $1200 per year
  • Medical benefit                                                          $600 per year
  • Training licensure                                                      $200 onetime benefit

Additional Benefits

  • Resident receive 4 weeks of paid vacation
  • Resident meals are $15 per day at each hospital
  • Residents are provided with an iPhone and service plan (paid by FAU)
