Residents training in the Schmidt College of Medicine Clinical Skills Simulation Center

Simulation has become an important component of medical education across arc from student to resident to practitioner.  Simulation allows one to experience difficult, dangerous, or uncommon events in a safe, reproducible and controlled environment where learning may be maximized and no patients are placed in jeopardy. FAU is fortunate to have a truly ‘state-of-the-art’ simulation center that is utilized by all of the residencies we offer.
