Ashley Beattie, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Psychiatry

Dr. Ashley Beattie joined the faculty of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in July 2020 as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and serves as the Site Director for the Psychiatry Residency Training Program at the Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services. She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Florida, and an M.D. from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Beattie completed her residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency Training Program and served as Chief Resident in the Psychiatry Department. She completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program and served as a Chief Resident in the department.

Dr. Beattie is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
