About the Internal Medicine Residency Program

Learning at Internal Medicine

The FAU Internal Medicine Residency Program, fully accredited by ACGME, will accept up to 24 categorical residents in Internal Medicine yearly, and three (3) preliminary residents that will complete a one-year internship before going on to specialty training in their chosen field.

Our University-based program, located in south Palm Beach County Florida, is conducted at three community hospitals, which offer 900 + medical beds for a strong clinical experience and a great diverse patient population. You will have access to a state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Center, and a comprehensive and well-balanced curriculum that allows not only training in general internal medicine, but also the flexibility for each resident to tailor the experience to his or her individual goals. Finally, an extensive outpatient exposure in every medical subspecialty will complement your education.

I invite you to learn more about our residency program. Please take some time to explore our website. I hope that you consider Florida Atlantic University for your Internal Medicine Residency Training.
